New to St Paul's Warwick Road?
When I come for the first time, what can I expect to see?
Someone on the door to welcome you and show you where to go.
Rows of seats - you are welcome to sit wherever you feel comfortable
Friendly members of our church family who are always willing to chat.
We use a screen for the song words and prayers, there will be a Bible for you to use in the seat in front of you.
What time should I get there?
The service starts every Sunday morning at 10.30am, but you can arrive any time you like from 10am onwards.
What's the service like?
We sing some songs, there are some prayers, we read the bible and there is a talk about the bible reading.
After the service there are refreshments (tea, coffee and biscuits, with a drink and biscuit for children)
During the service, you can join in as much as you like, or just sit quietly - no pressure either way.
When we sing, some people prefer to stay seated, some prefer to stand. Either is fine.
The service lasts about 90 minutes (longer if we are having communion).
What about my children?
We usually have separate groups for children - creche (for babies and children up to age 4 (pre-school), Sparklight (a group for primary school aged children) and Laser (a group for secondary school aged children). These groups run most weeks apart from the first Sunday of the month when we all stay in the main church building to learn together.
We have some activity bags for young children
Do I have to dress up?
No! You are welcome to come dressed however you feel comfortable.
