We hope you have enjoyed our digital advent calendar! As our calendar doesn't have a day 25 both day 24 and 25 are below.

We have finally made it - today we have the glorious Hallelujah chorus! The editor of this advent calendar would like to say that it was very hard to choose which performance to choose. In the end we have the performance from 2012 by the the Royal Choral Society. They have performed Handel's Messiah on Good Friday at the Royal Albert Hall every year since 1876, only missing performances during the Blitz and Covid. At the beginning of the clip you can hear a lot of rustling - this is the sound of the audience standing, which it is traditional to do for the Hallelujah chorus. It is up to you if you would like to stand too :-) Revelation 19:6; 11:15; 19:16
